Each of our classes have a suggest type of dress for the style of dance, but we encourage you to wear what makes you feel most comfortable:

1. Hip Hop & Breakdance

  • Loose, modest clothing (sweatpants are easiest)

  • "Indoor only" runners

2. Contemporary & Jazz

  • Modest, flexible clothing, body suit (optional)

  • Bare feet (optional jazz shoes for jazz class)

3. Tap

  • Casual, comfortable clothing

  • Black tap shoes

4. Ballet

i. Ballet

  • Black body suit, ballet pink tights, pink ballet slippers (additional warm-up clothing may be worn but only for the first few minutes of class)

  • Hair tied back

  • Boys/men - black leggings/shorts, white fitted t-shirt, black ballet slipper

ii. Esteem Ballet

  • Comfortable clothing that you feel free to move in and allows your ankles and feet to be visible

  • Pink ballet slippers

6. Dancing for Healing

  • Comfortable, flexible clothing

  • Bare feet

7. Ribbon Dancing

  • Modest, flexible clothing that is comfortable

  • No sleeves with excess material as it may interfere with the ribbon

  • Bare Feet

  • Hair tied back

8. Social Dancing

  • Comfortable, flexible clothing

  • Shoes that will securely stay on feet - it is most beneficial to have shoes that are not rubber soled, so that they don’t stick to the floor
